You know what they say about the best made plans... right??? Perfect example. The weekend of December 14th the girls (Becca, Julie, Stephanie and I) had all planned to have a girls weekend. Something we try to do every 6 months or so. We crash at my house and stay in our PJs and do girl stuff. Excellent tradition. Well for this weekend Becca was able to score tickets to Wicked at the Fox.
Only problem was that the weather wasn't going to allow this weekend to go off without a hitch. That was the weekend we got about 6 inches of snow overall... Pretty sure Steph got buried even deeper in Lebanon. Also turned out that my sister Cathy (from San Fran) was in town to visit with her Mom who had surgery that Friday. Julie and Becca both had last minute plans changes too. We weren't sure what was going on until it happened...
Good news is we made it to Wicked (we'll all but Steph~ the snow kept her away)... Cathy was able to use her ticket though so that was tons of fun! Becca made us a great dinner then we headed down to the Fox. Great show. Found out my little guy loves outings like that. Whenever we've been to a SLU game or the Fox or any other loud event he rolls around the entire time. Keeps me awake! Anyway the show was great! Thanks Bec for scoring the great deal on the seats, and letting Cathy use Steph's ticket! Only real delay was trying to get out of that parking garage... won't do that again~!!! We still need to reschedule for spring when Steph comes out of hibernation.
