Shake Rattle and Roll

Everyone has been asking how we've been sleeping since Parker's arrival, and most nights my answer is that he gets up to eat and goes right back to sleep so I'm getting plenty of rest. That wasn't the case this morning though. Parker woke up at 3:45 to eat and was back asleep by 4:15 am. I had just fallen asleep when the house started to shake. Immediately I grabbed Parker and jumped out of bed waking up Dave telling him I thought it was an earthquake. He said it is probably wind. We stopped to listen for a minute and realized the pipes were shaking and that the wind couldn't do that. At that point we were up for the day. We tried to find a news station covering the quake but none were broadcasting yet. We turned on KMOX and they were taking calls, sure enough there had been an earthquake in eastern Illinois. Definitely the first quake we had felt. Crazy that they are saying people in Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, St. Louis and Evansville all felt the shaking!!!
