First 'food'

Parker had his 4 month check up today. We were a little late on the appointment date since he'd been sick the last few weeks and we'd rescheduled twice. He's feeling better now and was able to get his shots today. First off, he's now 13lbs 13oz. and 25.5 inches long. He's doing great, and right where he needs to be developmentally (rolling around, standing up while we're holding him, blabbering and singing all the time).

So, we were told he is ready for stage 1 foods... cereal, fruits and veggies mashed very well. Tonight on my way home from work I stopped and got him some chow! His first meal was cereal and applesauce. He loved it. After the first couple of bites when he saw the spoon coming he'd flap his arms and get excited. He reminded us of a baby bird.

Here's photos... He doesn't look too happy or bright eyed because of the aforementioned shots! He's had a tough day and needed lots of hugs and snuggles to get over the trauma of the shots this morning.

1st time with solids went well... He was ready, and loved them!
